American wavy flag crocheting tribute September 11th is what I can do for all of you who follow us and live in this wonderful, huge country. What do I want with this? Not to remember the pain we feel with the loss of our dear loved ones, but to eternalize those they lived through and to honor our heroes.

I will not write much, I will not put the pain I feel here for having lost one of my brothers in this unparalleled tragedy, what do I really want?

Tribute September 11th

What I want with this pattern is to express this love I feel for my brother, to each grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister, husband, wife, uncle and aunt who lost the one they loved the most, who lost someone on this day. Let this flag be a remembrance of those we love.

This pattern that represents me and many around the world, came from designer Tracy Jhonson. This pattern of hers inspired me to do this, to make something that would stay in our family forever and to her my many thanks, care and love.

  1. I would like to print out this pattern of the American flag to crochet, my mom crocheted an American flag and gave it to my brother who was in the Navy for 20 years which now resides in Australia. My mom lost her pattern and she seen this pattern and asked me to print it off.

  2. I cannot find the stripe pattern! I would like to make for our local American Legion raffle. Can someone help? Thanks. Ravelry pattern I printed & states “follow Crochet Crowd” instructions for stripes. Thanks again
