Holiday Delight Afghan and Angel Blanket as mentioned above are two very different patterns, but they can be used for the same purpose, i.e. for your Christmas party, but not only for Christmas, but for whatever occasion you wish.

Maggie Weldon’s Ravelry page  –> Nancy Elliott Thank you for informing us about the ownership of these two beautiful patterns.

The first one we will talk about is exactly the one from the image above which is the Holiday Delight Afghan so let’s start on not only the colors, but also a beautiful pattern that it was made for.

Crochet Brightly Colored Tunisian Throw

The idea that we can have is of a crochet quilt that actually looks quite like a white crochet curtain and of course the garlands that are the highlight, also in all crochet made.
If you look at it calmly you will see that it is actually quite simple to do, and has nothing 3 D or complicated to do, but of course I particularly believe it would be an ideal for those who are intermediate level up.

This beautiful pattern follows for 3 basic colors which are white (simulating the curtain), green (simulating the garland leaves) and red (simulating the garland loop) but don’t be pensive, you can change the colors to your taste or to the lines you have at your disposal. This crochet work is really fantastic isn’t it?

Angel Blanket is a very different pattern that we think you might like and can use at your Christmas party, or rather, it can also be used as a welcome piece at your door, or on the wall where you like it the most, like in the dining room, in the living room, near the fireplace if you have one, or near the Christmas tree.

Cynthia Harris’ Ravelry Page  –> Nancy Elliott Thank you for informing us about the ownership of these two beautiful patterns.

Angel Blanket is also a wonderful pattern used by several moms in the nursery as a decorative piece that can of course be moved around whenever mommy needs to move around the room, and the best thing is that it can be used for all ages.
